In 2011, watch designer Eric Giroud challenged himself to redesign the unique case of REBELLION’s monumental RE-1 Chronograph. Seven years later, the brand wants to break free from its ad infinitum virile appearance by subtly revamping its timepiece.
Still square, strapping, and masculine, the iconic REBELLION has held on to its soul. The goal is to make it more refined, with finishes worthy of a watchmaker with a more contemporary style. Its honeycomb-patterned frame hugs the magnificent contours of the base of Swiss-made automatic movement.
Proud of this new sporty dial design, the brand has completely redesigned its case using the latest high-tech materials. REBELLION offers versions of its monumental case featuring a combination of forged carbon, in gold or in titanium. A subtle allusion to the original materials of race car chassis, offering both exceptional lightness and rigidity.
EXCEPTIONAL FINISHES
DIAL
Reminiscent of a dashboard, the finishing touches (counters, indexes and central second-hand) of the black honeycomb dial are available in several colours and will adapt perfectly to the materials chosen for the case.
PERSONALISED PLATE
Flanked on the side, a personalised plate can sport the text of your choice. For a unique REl 2.0 Chronograph — literally.
CASE
Square, strapping and modular, the case can be chosen in titanium, titanium black DLC finish, rose gold, or forged carbon.
BRACELET
Available in vulcanized rubber and in several colours, the strap will adapt
perfectly to the materials chosen for the case.
MOVEMENT INSIDE
This chronograph’s robust and accurate Swiss Made movement guarantees precise measurement of your performance, on and off the racing track. Titanium, Titanium black DLC, carbon and Gold 5N combine in superposed layers to give the watch its robust character and high performance capabilities. Mechanical perfection is revealed through the large sapphire crystal back.
